Christian Combs, the son of music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, has been accused of sexual assault in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The lawsuit alleges that the assault took place on a yacht chartered by Sean Combs in late December 2022. The elder Combs, who is currently under federal investigation for sex trafficking, is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit.
The plaintiff, Grace O’Marcaigh, alleges that Christian Combs sexually assaulted her while she was working on the yacht. The trip, initially presented as a "wholesome family excursion," allegedly devolved into a "hedonistic environment," according to the lawsuit. The younger Combs is accused of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and infliction of emotional distress, while his father is being sued for premises liability and for allegedly aiding and abetting his son in the assault.
The lawsuit alleges that Christian Combs drugged and sexually assaulted O’Marcaigh, who was 25 at the time. She claims to have audio evidence of her rejecting his advances. The lawsuit also alleges that she witnessed partying and drug use among a "constant rotation of suspected sex workers" and celebrities on the yacht.
Aaron Dyer, an attorney representing both Sean and Christian Combs, dismissed the lawsuit as "lewd and meritless," accusing O’Marcaigh's lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, of spreading "manufactured lies and irrelevant facts." Dyer stated that his legal team plans to file a motion to dismiss the suit.
The lawsuit is the latest in a series of legal troubles for Sean Combs, who has been accused in multiple lawsuits of sexual assault, sexual trafficking, and other criminal activities. He has consistently denied all allegations. In March, federal agents searched Combs' properties in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex-trafficking investigation.
The lawsuit alleges that the assault had a profound impact on O’Marcaigh's mental health, leading to anxiety, panic attacks, and severe suicidal ideations. She also claims to have developed an eating disorder and epileptic seizures following the assault. O’Marcaigh is seeking unspecified damages for her ordeal.
This lawsuit is the first to accuse Christian Combs of sexual assault. His father, Sean Combs, has been accused of sexual assault by four women since November. One of those lawsuits has been settled, while the others remain unresolved.
